Sweating but productive walk yesterday

Found a new Craig Johnson book (I do love Walt) and not sure why but was led to Dead Man's Walk by McMurtry... and even with the heat I made it a two walk day.  :)  Regular Thursday reservoir route and then an up and back to library.  And my window/shades ballet worked very well to keep it good sans AC in the apt.  

Did go to CA for a DC I don't usually attend.  It ended and I looked down and saw it was 3:33 p.m.  Now I am looking down and it is 4:44 a.m.  Feels like a good day ahead.  Just heard from PD friend (he is on overnights these days).  He wanted me to take a look at him on TV yesterday.  Local police having a program about "blue envelope" which people can hand to police if they are on the spectrum and want police to know if they are pulled over in case things go off script.  And more "news" yesterday - AARP ran an article that included my "boss" (we are all volunteers) at The Good Death Society Blog in the content and FEN by name.  Did not think I would ever see FEN and AARP in the same sentence.  Very encouraging.  Also fun back and forth with sister #1 about the reconnection she had based on some pictures I gave her as a result of my sifting and sorting things out of my apartment last fall.  

Today - walk, BYOlunch with pool ladies at one of the ladies' homes.  I think I did OK with my lunch item plan.  Of course second meal of the day at noon...makes for a very long time until my next meal on Saturday.  Oh well. :)  Pool opens tomorrow.  Still have not worked out the drive or walk to pool routine for this season.  Son will be busy again this weekend - he is involved in the Slice of Detroit event.    Michigan and Trumbull is his spot.  :)
