What meets you, is meant for you...interesting "close the circle" for this week

Always interesting to see as I move through the day "what meets me".  Trying to remember the pieces of yesterday.  Watched town BOS meeting.  Sister #4's friend's sister will have the high school stadium named after her.  And another reason for me to be the "reporter" on the EDA meetings - more or less a moratorium on building for a bit until they finish a report on the sewer system capacity.  Nothing glamorous about that but a key element for growth...is an understatement.  Wrote Compassion & Choices to see what the process/cost would be to show Herself to the End program so I can present that info to the local library/town social services office. The Last Journey: Free Film Screening + Psilocybin Workshop and the Path to Peace/"Herself to the End" - Authors Fran Volkmann & Carol Edelstein - in that order my inspiration/aspiration. 

Sent brother's birthday card out.  Paid my 2025-26 car/renters insurance policies.  Last year: $1006/$153  This year:  $1039/$164  If I was more energetic about the process of cost comparisons - I should have shopped around...but I did not.  The things I beat up as to cost and the things I do not.  COMCAST (internet and TV) $117/ATT $59...not...I have no streaming services or data plans.  Flip phone is not hooked up to internet.  I am sure I could be smarter but I am stuck on what they call the "stickiness" - the effort of leaving something.  20 years of COMCAST and 1996 for when I set up ATT phone "plan" or for these two cost items, I should say "lack of plan".  Oh well.  

Rest of day - walk, talked to sister #4 on phone "into the night" - 7:46 p.m.  :)  4:44 a.m. just popped up on my computer.  :)  Former co worker set up an appt with the person I said might be able to help him with his retirement timetable.  Did get the info from Sister #4 as to who recently helped her get her retirement stuff in order.  She is a couple of years in now - July 1 2023.  But medical stuff and this year the new pool and last year adding the summer job at the Yacht Club.  Wanted to make sure everything still was on track.  If I only thought about my own stuff the way I think about others...  :)

Today - a second Friday to the Shoppes walk.  Want to pick up a card for my former PD boss.  His mother died.  I will swing by the PD on the way back and sit at the "statement taking table" and fill it out and leave it for him.  

Nothing on my paper calendar until Wednesday...

 Things may be unstable for you this morning, Libra, but improve quite a bit by the end of the day. If you can, you should probably just sleep this morning. Get a full amount of rest so you can fully enjoy the latter part of the day. This will leave you with plenty of energy so you can make the most of your night with someone special.

I am waiting for the "A sense of relief comes with each broken plan you release, providing the freedom to reinforce structures and goals that are dependable"...leave broken plans behind?  Now that would be a cosmic lift.  :)  What meets me, is meant for me.  Have a good Friday.  Front and center on broken plan thinking...8 months into 2025.  Yowser.
