Onward and upward - on a few fronts yesterday

This pic is what the UNC football game was all about.  Carolina fans are the best.  They have lived through drama on the sidelines/courtside before and lived to tell about it.  I talked a lot yesterday with various people about how college sports have become an interesting thing.  

On another front - cannot for the life of me figure out the point of the Bloom book I am reading...but it is a small book so I will finish it up.  Changed up my walking route yesterday and ran into my PD buddy.  He was driving the car he bought for his son.  Daughter has decided that she will not return to her high school for her senior year...lots to think about. 

So Shoprite $24/$7 day, dishwasher run, load of clothes washed, walk.  Texted the Chief in the a.m. saying my thoughts were with him yesterday and today.  Calling hours and funeral mass for his mom.  Talked to son.  Deep six-ed the idea of the Tulum retreat.  He was fine with that.  

Today - walk with family friend, clean apt, EOLD at noon - Herbs and Earth Practices for Grief, C&C at 4 - . National Arts & Culture Series - Vanishing: a Love Story with Sandra Luckow.  3:58 a.m. as I speak.

You need to be careful today because your eye for luxury items could lead you into making a bid for something you cannot really afford. Not only that but later on you may decide you don’t want it after all. Be sensible and give it a miss.
