0-60...and back :)

Interesting roller coaster type ups and down yesterday.  Shared with one of our local political leaders - second generation, like me, of town leaders of the 50's and 60's in our town.  I went from a bit scorched earth type sharing to see you Wednesday and my support of what she was doing.  I did not want to become the next "Marianne".  The town turmoil maker.  :)  Then I watched some of GHOST movie.  Patrick Swayze makes me cry again.  Now he is a soul lost too soon.  Hope to finish Heartwood today.  Quote from this a.m. - "can't forgive yourself, it is a conflict of interest".  :)   Walked to Unionville.  Sibling call.  Sister #1 is back home along in VA.

Big storm was not so big.  Will see who got the brunt of it. Reopened the windows this a.m.  No rain this a.m., but great sound of wind.  Think I will be OK for walk today.  ZEN tonight.

The more time you spend with a loved one who seems a bit depressed the more you will come to understand what is making them so miserable. It may be that a little sympathy from you is all they need to start loving life again.

The Cancer quarter moon challenges you throughout the day, dear Libra, aspecting Mars, the nodes of fate, Jupiter, Chiron, and Saturn. Though curveballs may cause you to tense up at first, be mindful to relax the body so your mind can think clearly. You'll conquer obstacles and impress peers when strategies are formed with a calm and collected demeanor. Let logic outweigh disappointment as you gradually climb your way to the top. A boost to your charisma makes it easier to appease those who might stand in your way once Venus enters your sign and opposes dreamy Neptune midafternoon.

If you're in the mood for love, remember to be sensitive to your partner's needs and give lots of love in return. Don't forget that the old standbys of champagne and chocolate still work! Or a warm bubble bath - that's sure to relieve any tension.

The treat I have been thinking of of late is a store bought cake for my birthday this year.  I do love a overly frosted, too sweet cake...will see if this is the year I finally buy one for myself.  :)  I think of it often, buy it never.  I am very glad I am overbooked for the actual day.  :)  Will look back at my writing to see where I was this time last year.  Just a peek.

Have a good "holiday" Monday.
