Lots of crossing paths yesterday

After a soggy walk, day became one of "worlds collide" moments about books ending with ZEN DC.  Guess the full thought day is the reason I am JUST getting to writing at 5:43 a.m.  I am usually getting ready for Shoprite by this time.  Oh well.  Some of the interchanges:

From the husband of Heartwood author, a former school #1 co worker after I told him I read and loved her book: This is great! FYI, the book is brilliant. As for the spotlight, she's the bonafide superstar! And I am lucky to be with her.  From the classmate who I had breakfast with a couple of Saturdays ago:  I did read Heartwood a few months ago and really enjoyed it, very suspenseful! I do like reading books that are written about places that are nearby.  I just finished a fiction book, The Correspondent by Virginia Evens.  I wasn’t sure I would enjoy it because it’s all letters but I found myself really enjoying it.  A bit of a journey through an older woman’s life with some wit and emotion as she looks back at her life through the letters she has written. Let me know if you read another by Amity Gage.  On another soccer update, Kent beat Choate on Saturday! They’re playing ("my former school ") on Oct 22. I am sure that will be a hard one.  If it’s a nice day, we might consider going.  I know I asked you this once before, but is your birthday in October?  From W&T book club facilitator when I shared about Heartwood and The Correspondent as possible future club reads and the rainy day and the holiday day off for her had her reading too: I have been reading too.  Finishing my book on Iceland and reading the new Ann Cleeves.  Yikes.  What do people do who do not like to read?  :)

Made non reading connections with TX friend and sister #6.  Next week is National Estate Planning Awareness Week (NEPAW) is later this month, from October 20 - 26. Adopted in 2008 by the House of Representatives, NEPAW is an opportunity to help everyone understand the importance of estate planning.  Sister #1 has told sister #6 to set up a trust and find a gentleman caller.  TX friend is trying to move her husband who turns 70 this year to get a will and medical directives in place...  And Rochester DC facilitator is doing a session on digital legacy.  I had just gotten a newsletter item form C&C that I shared with her.

So other than worlds collide - wet sneaker walk.  Watch Matlock from Sunday.  Looks like I could get in a rhythm with Wed shows, L&A/Matlock and Boston Blue for my day after airing watching...we will see.  Landlady delivered homemade granola to my stoop.  She started the whole worlds collide with loaning me Heartwood awhile back.  Glad I read it when I did.

Better get moving with today - Shoprite, wash, dishwasher, walk, CA DC, SD DC.  Now reading another book landlady game me - The Girls in the Stilt House - false start awhile back, but into it as of this a.m.  Just retrieved sneakers from back hallway where I left them to dry out...they are ready to go.  :)  Also wrote what I want to send along with the little ceramic Christmas tree TX friend gave me and I am going to send to my brother - for his grandson is my thought.  I will hope he opens it and does not just throw it in the trash unopened.  The phrase I think of a lot after hearing it at the talk I almost missed on Thursday when "what do I do" escapes me - "Give banks to the river."  and "Do something, it will lead to something".  And "What I need will meet me".  I am buoyed.

Pluto, planet of transformation, ends its retrograde phase today and makes a positive link to your ruler Venus, so obstacles that have been holding you back will most likely be swept away. Get your act together and get moving again.

The Leo moon and Neptune form a dreamy alliance early this morning, dear Libra, increasing your charisma and ability to enthrall. Whether you're looking to gain followers online, impress your sweetie's friends, or snag a date with your crush, put in the effort to lure others in. Your creative potential boosts while a rare cosmic kite emerges overhead, helping you veer away from trends to promote your own perspective. Take a spiritual approach toward chasing goals and evolving when a grand trine forms between Venus, Uranus, and Pluto, which promises to trigger major blessings and magickal moments.

Are you fed up with everyone around you now? Are you fantasizing about walking out the door and not returning? Go ahead - just for today! You probably need a break from everyone. Why not get a massage and float away for a while? Your family will be happy to have you back, especially if you left them with plenty of assignments.

I will keep a good thought for getting my act together, grand trine, and letting myself float away for a bit...lift all that up for me today.  Have a good Tuesday.  I better get cracking.  6:10 a.m. already.  :)
