Candles to take me into the new year

Michigan "Homesick" and "Serenity + Calm".  Will enjoy both even more than my usual liking of candles because they came from my son.  Mr. Amazon VERY rarely lands at my door.  The delivery guy left it in the middle of the landing rather than at the door - he probably thought it was a misprint.  "That lady never orders anything" might have gone through his mind.  My son said more is on the way.  I had told him to be on the look out for candles and incense for her dear old mother.  :)  So chicken pot pie from landlady and candles from son...BIG day in my neighborhood.  The day took me in lots of directions. Cleaned apartment.  Did blog work and got a GREAT response from one of the people I reached out to thank her for her for her work in the end of life realm.  Walk.  EOLD discussion.  Drove up to the community center at 5-ish and read in the library for a bit before the Meet the Candidates meeting.  Should have walked, but did not have any ride home lined up and did not know how long the meeting was going to go.  Oh well.  The candidates all impressed me.  Very reassuring feeling.  

Today - ZOOM about early voting work training at 11 a.m.  Then I will walk.  Wednesday shows to watch.  Second round of chicken pot pie to eat.  Will see if anything else makes it into the day.  Really enjoying my book.  Wondering why I put it down like a hot potato the first time I started reading it.
