Clock ruled the day yesterday :)

After playing catch up all day...slept like a rock last night 7:13 a.m. to 3:20 a.m.  I did feel "back on track" by 10 a.m. yesterday but it was an "out of sequence" a.m.  Doreen and I did not meet in the check out lane at Shoprite until 8 a.m.  $55/$15 shopping day - cheese, dishwasher detergent, grapes were the big items.  Did have a shrink-flation moment - the package of dishwasher detergent sister #4 left me in January 2025 was a 27 item bag of "actionpacs", the exact same bag from yesterday was a 26...399 g (14.0 oz) from before, 398 g (14.0 oz) yesterday...AND I checked in with Mr. Google and there were "warnings" that not only less per bag, but do count what is in the bag once you open it.  Some people have found less than the printed number of "actionpacs" once they opened the bag.  You know I will be counting.  Cascade SAYS they lessened the number when they "turbo charged" the actionpacs...I am going with it is straight shrink-flation.   AND I had left word work undone and no pause between breakfast "courses"  :)  Coffee to banana/grapes to egg and toast all overlapped.  I will take it slower this a.m.  So the balance of the a.m. - ran dishwasher, load of wash, word work, some blog work.  Out for a walk at 10:15 a.m.-ish.  That is when I felt back on track.

1 p.m. CA DC, second meal, SD DC.  TX friend checked in post SD.  Woke up to text from landlady from last night...7:50 p.m.  I did not hear my phone ping.  Will check in later this a.m.  Today clean apt, walk with family friend, EOLD at noon, 7 p.m. Meet the Candidates for the town election.

Nothing on my paper calendar until Monday Oct 20...Then lots on the calendar until end of month with Oct 24, 25, 31 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. working early voting.  And the usual 3rd week of the month DCs.

After the hectic activities of the past few weeks you could do with a rest, so keep a low profile today while you get your breath back. There is nothing scheduled that is so important that you cannot put it off for a few more days.

You could feel annoyed with peers and disenchanted by society as a whole, darling Libra, as the Leo moon squares Mercury and Mars. Permit yourself to vent frustrations with a trusted friend, but avoid making sweeping public statements that might backfire later. News outlets and social media will seem particularly volatile, so consider finding peace in Mother Nature's grounding embrace. Simple pleasures can also take you away from drama, no matter how small or fleeting they may be. Reinvigorating vibes flow once the sun and Luna align tonight, restoring your sense of community and faith in humanity.

You're a traditionalist at heart and happy to do the same thing year in and year out. Your partner could be tiring of the old routine. Today your friend may want to do things differently. There's no need to be traumatized by this change. You might discover some new traditions that you can add to the old. Be flexible. You won't regret keeping an open mind.

Interesting cosmic guidance.  I will keep quiet tonight at the MTC.  Will see if family friend has any guidance.  And I will keep the paper calendar clear.  It has been a different month for me as to people interactions.  Keep a good thought.  Sent this to the facilitator of the CA DC whose daughter has a biopsy that was canceled due to Kaiser west coast strike.  Have a good Wednesday.

Had to smile when you mentioned equanimity today...heard it (or I should say, was in the place to hear it) for the first time last night and had to go to my dictionary...  Never a word that "spoke" to me in the past.  Surprise, surprise.  😎

Equanimity is a state of mental and emotional stability that involves remaining calm, composed, and balanced, especially under pressure. It is the ability to maintain a non-reactive and even-minded perspective when faced with challenges, emotional turmoil, or distressing situations. Key benefits include clarity, resilience, and reduced emotional reactivity, leading to greater inner peace.

Blessings and equanimity to all.  💖
