Another new to me, but not to the rest of the world... :)

Thought I was seeing a first out my window last night, but then per Mr. Google, it is "a thing".  I wonder if I will ever be privy to "a first"...doubt it.  :)  Oh well.  I will hope that they are a regular at the local bar over the holidays and I will see it again.  As I told my police buddy, it was one of those "would have been nice to have one of those fancy phone cameras" moments for me.  

So besides that end of the day, yesterday - watched Thursday shows, walked, finished my latest Silva.  I am so taking a break from him for a bit.  Finished #18, there are currently 24 in the series.  I think I missed some of the 1-18 and I think I might have gotten ahead of myself as I look at the titles of 19-24.  Oh well.  Break is needed.  

Got news yesterday that sister #3 will not be at Thanksgiving so that helps me stay in my "no group larger than 6" goal of life.  If I do not count sister #1's gentleman caller - it will be a party of 6.  :)  And it means that I get to stay at sister #1's house and not at her friend's house.  All feeling much more do-able for me.  

Today watch All-In, Boston Blue, walk to the Shoppes is my plan. I do love wandering Shoprite the weekend before Thanksgiving when I have nothing to buy and others are filling up their carts.  :)  Did ask the 85 yr old swimming lady if she needed any help at her house in prep for her daughter and family showing up.  But she ordered most of the food stuffs to be delivered and upstairs of house is pretty much ready from her daughter's last visit.  

Finished the last of my Nuts.com snacks items that I incorporated little by little into my meal #2 except the second jar of jam which I just opened yesterday that son sent for my birthday.  Got a great text from friend in Cambridge who had a stroke.  She loved my poem.  That makes my heart sing.  Sounds like she might not be "better" but I will let her tell me what she wants to about how her recuperation is going.  

Son is thinking of taking Sweet Potato Lasagna to his father's...Might be a bit "out there" for the crowd, but he is bit "out there" for the crowd - so consistent.  We will see if lands on lasagna.  Have not had confirmation or cancellation of TX/NM friend's sister's trip to town tomorrow or Monday.  Will see if I hear today.
