Too much food and not even holiday week...

Was drawn to this picture this a.m.  Trying to manage my way through the next few days, changing up routines and eating habits...minefield.  :)  Yesterday - again lacking focus and attention to detail, I cannot fully account for why I got a late start on my walk but I did.  Walked to the Shoppes - got overwhelmed by all the stuff I had to navigate around at Kohl's to make my pit stop.  Overwhelmed by the full carts at Shoprite and the conversations about what is needed for a Thanksgiving dinner.  Then minutes after I got home and before I started meal #2, family friend's husband called to see if I wanted to go out to dinner with them.  Perfect timing and I said yes.  Did get a bit weak in the knees waiting until my 6 p.m. pick up but too much foot at the meal.  Brought half of it home.  Not sure if I will put my body through a repeat of the food items tonight...  Then started a new book.  Not what I thought what I had picked out but I think I will stick with it as light read.  My Beloved by Jan Karon - Karon’s books aren’t likely to wind up in the canon of great American literature. The prose is serviceable but rarely artistic. Her stories typically inspire curiosity to see how predictable events unfold, rather than creating anticipation about a mysterious plot or drawing readers in with penetrating character development.  And it is about Christmas...it will be a stretch for me.  :)

Today - walk to Unionville, clean apt (off schedule), 4 & 7 p.m. DCs.  Monday - do Tuesday chores to leave me free to leave for sister #4's when I feel ready on Tuesday a.m.  Will go to Shoprite for my only purchase of the week - bananas.  Or stop on the way out of town on Tuesday.  Will see.  Have a piece being posted on the GDS blog that will go up tonight.  Will see what the comments are.  As with everything I right - take what you like and leave the rest.

If you make an effort to accept that not everyone sees things the same way as you then the coming week will be a breeze. If, however, you insist that they align their outlook with your own then you may end up seriously disappointed.

Your voice and sense of identity will shift and strengthen simultaneously, dear Libra, as the Sagittarius sun and Pluto align. Absorb new information and permit yourself to think outside the box, especially when it comes to creative expression. Essential conversations can also help improve strained dynamics, clearing away drama that has recently plagued your friendships. As the Moon moves through Capricorn, you'll be in a unique position to share your emotions without coming across as overly sensitive. Spend your evening catching up on household chores or getting cozy on the couch while the nodes of fate activate.

If you had to take a test today and had a choice between poetry and physics, you wouldn't hesitate. Poetry. Today is about interpretation, not analysis. A change in the atmosphere over the next few days is going to affect your thinking. You should expect some confusion in your contact with the people closest to you.

Well that is a boatload of inspiration from my cosmic guidance today with the week ahead...sounds supportive...if I "behave", respond not react, remember that everyone - including myself - is showing up as the person they can be on any given day.  :)  Lift me up on that one.  Have a good Sunday.

PS:  I am throwing out the leftovers...to heavy to start the week on.  :)
