Chore day done :)

Not a solitary day, but solitary in spirit for me.  Up early, writing, watching Dead Talks - great episode.  Shoprite was a $28.30/$7.70 day, 6:51 a.m. check out time with Doreen.  Wash, dishwasher, walk.  Picked up a "flyer" at the Community Center.  I had shared with Park & Rec director that I had not gotten the flyer asking town seniors what they had participated in or would like to participate in at the Sr Ctr.  I do think they need to up their game from flyers...I did hear back from the director that she got my email about the "senior email distribution list" I must be on to get what I get from the town and what about some type of "senior news" area in the check out area on Sr Disc Tuesday at Shoprite.  I can attest to the fact that the place is full of old people, no one moving very fast so they would probably be able to have something catch their eye if it was in the check out area.  We will see.  Told the swimming ladies that the town CAO was going to be at the COA meeting (commission on aging) on Dec 2.  I will probably go to hear how he explains the staff walk out of the senior center.  :)

After walk - CA DC, watched FBI show from Monday night, IOWA DC.  Small but good group there with new facilitator.  Today - clean apt, walk with family friend, EOLD, FIC, GA DC.  Looking forward to the conversations at all.  Sister #1 sent out info on Thanksgiving.  I picked up a bag of frozen corn and another bag of Sister Schubert's so I am done.  I am taking a leap of faith that I am meant to be there with whomever shows up there this Thanksgiving.  I hope everyone shows up with open mind and heart.  Family is a funny thing and - for me - you throw in holidays...minefield.  :)  BUT Massage Thursday tomorrow!!!

Good news, bad news no worries about partnership communication.  And as to money...as tight as I am with my "folding money", investments are taking me for a bit of a ride...not looking forward to doing my monthly report for November.  I do feel like I do "flow alongside the people whose backs you have and who have yours".  Family is the wild card on this one.  Honesty and openness has not been the family calling card on many levels but I will hope next week cracks that code without breaking hearts any more than they are already.  

But back to what I love about Wednesday - the only day I have company on my walk.  cleaning apt.  EOLD group.  GA group.  And - Don't forget that Wednesday, November 19th from 1pm-2pm Central Time is the Finding the Intentional Community For You webinar with Community Finder's Cynthia Tina.  Another stab for me in exploring if there is one more move I need to make to find that last group of people who have my back.  We will see if anything jumps out at me.
