Trying to figure out a missing link in yesterday...

I am trying to figure how I thought I signed up for a "book club" meeting to talk about Nothing To Fear - Demystifying death to live more fully: A comforting and informative guide that demystifies our end-of-life journey. Interweaving emotional insight and practical advice, Nothing to Fear simplifies end-of-life care for both patients and caregiver.  Hospice Nurse Julie is the author.  Julie McFaddenI could not find a link...focus and taking notes.  Another day of how and why of my chronicling my journey in the death and dying conversations.  Oh well.  Will hope that I did something that will get me sent the recording link.  I knew I was double booked, but I did put in on my google and paper calendars...

Do feel good about the balance of the day.  Apartment cleaned, talked to TX/NM friend, walk with family friend (who brought me a dozen farm fresh eggs), gave 4 to landlady when I returned my chicken pot pie gift dish, checked in with EOLD, logged off at 12:20 p.m. to go to town hall for recount, back home at 3-ish, Lansing DC at 7.  Got a great email from one of the doctors I had gone back and forth with after listening to her on a GERIPAL podcast.  Looking forward to where that conversation takes me.  She said she was going to busy with the GSA conference which I looked to see was the Gerontological Society of America.  Innovative Horizons in Gerontology is the theme.  Hope she will share with me what is new on that horizon.  

Today - Wednesday shows if they were on, walk, return latest Silva (finished it yesterday between recount and Lansing, started the next one today), 1 p.m. EKR Foundation, Author Series, What Matters Most with Diane Button, 7 p.m. Library series - "The Search for Truth and the Persistence of Love Across Time with Novelist Amanda Peters"   She wrote Berry Pickers.  Will see what else pops into the day.  :)

Also need to look for recount results and the BOS meeting last night's recording.  Lots of personnel items on the agenda AND the new board members first meeting.  Very curious to see what transpired.

Take the most useful aspects of each and put them toward achieving your goals. A delicate balance of give and take needs to happen.

Me, over-plan?  :)  I will try and wait for my moments of enlightenment later tonight.  Voices in my head - a good day would be just two.  :)  Delicate balance!!!  Keep a good thought for that.  Cosmic guidance gave me a smile and pause this a.m.  Good news all around.  Have a good Thursday.
