Yesterday - shoveling. Very short walk. Sure footing was not to be had. Sister #1 made it to PA. NO land speed record. Sister #6 alone until her daughter and SIL were to arrive back from England and go to her to pick up their dog and...their laundry. :/ Sister #4 did not make the trip up for her friend's holiday brunch. She did not finish her shoveling until 10:30 a.m. :(
I did pop into a DC I do not usually go to. So glad I did. Preparing was the word that kept surfacing. Each one in the room had preparation to do.
Feel much better today. Had to laugh when I looked back at my NYQUIL nights "schedule" - Jan 10 last year. No wonder after all that travel and landing back home - planes, trains, and automobiles. :) Solitude also helps with germ control. :) But the holidays get me out and about...germs. I also think of buying foods made perhaps by people who are bringing germs in, wait staff not feeling the best but do not want to call in sick to work at a busy tip time. I am overthinking a bit :) but I do think it has merit.
Today - will go to Shoprite with my plastic gift card! Can-Can sale "preview" today and tomorrow. Coffee and navel oranges sale that cannot be passed up. :) Also a preview I am looking forward to - Chicago and Law and Order back next week. :)

So today - Shoprite, will try to get a walk in. 16 degrees and icy as we speak.
