Snowing as I wake up this a.m.

Waking up on a 3:33 a.m. note.  Snow is falling.  Mr. Weather says "ending around 4:15 a.m.".  I will hold him to that AND a sun icon came on the forecast as of 10-ish a.m.  I will hold him to that too.  Wrote this to family friend this a.m.

"Shoveling was the activity of the weekend...Was supposed to see friend since 4 yrs old who was up from Florida for her daughter's baby shower on Saturday, sister #4 was going to come up for a basketball game at former school #2, I was supposed to go to one town over Library for a documentary...and zilch as to any of those things coming to fruition.  No good walks Saturday or Sunday. 

BUT I did finish my latest Silva - Inside Job, and a newer book - Firstborn: A Memoir by Lauren Christensen and started one this a.m. that sounds like it is going to be a 1890's version of one of Helen's true crime series podcasts.  Another nonfiction - The Improbable Victoria Woodhull - Suffrage, Free Love, and the First Woman to Run for President... I have never heard of her and the beginning is promising.  VERY glad I stocked up since the library is closed today.  :)

Hope your recuperation is on the upswing.  Looks like more shoveling in my future today.  And might need to refill my sand/salt bucket.  And PD buddy corrected me on my Panera closed factoid.  He said it is still open.  I will check it out again on my next Shoppes' swing." 

Other parts of the weekend, walked up to house of one of swimming ladies for afternoon tea on Sunday, and heard from son that his wallet was stolen in CDMX Saturday night so I locked up the credit card we have shared since 1996.  BUT 60 days, 7 hours more or less until Spring 2026 in this hemisphere,  AND January is the historically the coldest month where I live so I hang my hat on those two factoids this a.m.  AND PA DC and ZEN DC today.  That will lift me up for sure.  :)
