Incredibly peaceful night...surprisedly :)

My life dominoes lined up well yesterday.  Watched Boston Blue, good walk, finished off all the leftovers and can get back to food that makes sense for ME, not others but me.  New Eggers was just the book that could distract me from what noise I noticed on Main St. - which was very little.  Don't know if in the past I had not dropped the storm windows yet or it was a quieter crowd.  Whichever - A HOLOGRAM FOR THE KING - Dave Eggers was all I needed to get to sleep.  3:53 a.m. as we speak.  So a good kick off to the dreaded time change week.  Sun will set before 5 p.m. tonight...  :/  Rabbit, rabbit, rabbit.  

Talked to sister #4, she let it slip that sister #3 and wife and dog are planning to join us for Thanksgiving...we will see if that stays in place and I am glad to have some notice so I can prepare myself physically, mentally and emotionally.  I can do this.  

Today - walk to Unionville.  Nothing on my paper calendar.  56 degrees and sunny for walk time.  

Did scout out cranberry sauce at ALDI yesterday.  Too bad I can't go "off brand".  $1.39 for Sweet Harvest brand at ALDI, $1.99 on sale from $2.49 for Ocean Spray at Shoprite.  Will take a look at Stop & Shop.  I only am assigned rolls and cranberry sauce for my T'giving contribution.  Family knows my limits - mental and financial.  :)  Monthly financial report was a bit low...Friday seemed to be a bad market day.  Oh well.  I know I am in much better shape than others in the wide world.  

No more pics from son yet.  He and father will be moving toward the Chili Cook-off in Terlingua for the end of this week.  They will be judges one of the days.  Can't make son's life up.
