This picture "spoke" to me when I was looking at New Year images. Work was a welcome respite on Wednesday and yesterday. Went to the basketball game at my alma mater last night. Being with my old roommate gave me the connections to sit in the press box with the AD, his wife AND the AD when I was in school (yes, he is still alive...) and his son and grandsons! The gym is named after the ex-AD so it was even cooler than normal. I was in heaven. The AD is the author of the book about March Madness. The TV in the press box had ESPN on with the UNC-Rutgers game on AND Rick Majerus was one of the halftime commentators. Could the night have been more perfect? The only thing that did not happen was Bobby Knight breaking Dean Smith's record but that will come.
More about the spirit of the weekend ahead later. Off to a half day at work.
