First walk in the snow

Finally the first snow shovel snow of the year. Seems strange to say on Feb 2. This week has flown by. It started with the recital at Hartt School and ended with a walk in the snow. In between I spent time planning my upcoming road trip to North Carolina. Feeling bad that I hesitated for even a minute before turning over the seed money to my son for his new company, but obviously it did not bother him as he was down in South Carolina on a quick vacation when he got back to me. I will make my deposit when I stop in NYC on my way to NC.

Had a project today at work that necessitated my going into the indoor riding ring. Completely cool! Can't wait to take my mother over to see it. She was an award winning equestrian when she was young. Can't wait to see her reaction.

Plan is to be off to the ceramics room at school tomorrow a.m. to do my bowl for the "Empty Bowls" project. Plans in the works to try and do the Happy 50th birthday get together with sisters #4 and 5 this weekend. Sister #5 called me from the Brown-Penn basketball game tonight! I was envious.

Super Bowl Sunday coming up. Go Colts!
