Another interesting day

It was a great Friday. Good walk in the morning; productive work day with the boss away at a family reunion - her first vacation day since 10/06...; talk with across the street about the new AA job; and an email to set up an appointment for Tuesday at the other school. When I was not hired on the spot across the street, I thought I would play out the other school option. Should be an interesting week next week. Ended the day with a great dinner at Max's Oyster Bar - 20th Century Salad and Calamari and some Estancia Chardonnay. It was an interesting conversation with my co-worker, co-diner. She is starting her 6th year at school so she has a bit of history to give what is happening today some depth.

Still trying to decide about day - heading to the beach or hanging around and taking advantage of the town or my brother's pool.

Next week we have our school "community picnic" on Tuesday before all the girls start moving in. Thursday is a SPHERE event - a collaborative effort of area independent school dealing with the issues of diversity in our communities. Interview on Tuesday at lunch time. Mother's 85th birthday a week from today. Fall is heating up.

Sister #3 and her partner's anniversary today. They are in Provincetown for the event.

I also have my book club book to read before our next meeting 9/10.

Lots of good options for today as I sit in pajamas...Have a good Saturday.
