No shopping, but a good day

When I got out to my car at 5 a.m or so on Friday the plow guy had done a masterful job, so I did not have a lot of shoveling to do to get my car out so all I had to do was push snow off my car. So I ended up at work way ahead of my pick up time for class so I got to do a few things before I left for class. Intermediate Excel was not exactly exciting, but I did get quite a few hints for ways to do what I do a bit more efficiently. We will see.

Got home just in time for the staff and faculty wine and cheese party - a monthly event at school. This one was sponsored by the Art Department so it was "artistic" and had a display of an artist's work. I went back to my desk for a minute after the party, but I was so not in the mood to do anything but come home. I did arrive back in my town in time to see the Holiday Stroll with horse drawn carriage rides, Champagne walk, specials at the shops. I should have at least taken a look, but it does take all the stars aligning to get me in a shopping mood. It better hit me today!!!

I am going to make a list today and go after it. I can't let myself get distracted and then I will go to work tonight to take care of a couple of things. Sunday's weather looks to be creating a stay at home and watch football day - not a bad thing for me.

Will be stopping in at the parents to see what is up since we are now having Christmas Eve AND Christmas Day at their house. I am seeing some cleaning in my near future. But right now, I better make my list so I stay on task today! Wish me luck.
