Had Plan A foiled this morning when I went down to the basement to do wash and it was full - both washers and dryers going...someone beat me up this morning. Guess I will go to Plan B - work; co-worker's son's basketball game at 11:10 a.m. at a school right down the street from the parents; then to the parents - with my wash - and a project to do to send my boss' "people" postcards to say what they are missing from their file to meet the 2/1/08 deadline for applying; walk to the library to get my February book club book - The History of Love; then to my brother's for early dinner and to get my instructions for house sitting and "babysitting" for their freshman in high school while they are in St Lucia in February to celebrate their birthdays and anniversary - 50th and 25th, respectively!!! Then home to watch Q&A. Let's see how this plan holds up.
Yesterday was a full day. We had Saturday morning classes and some visitors. Then I hung around to tackle some of that pile of applications that came in on that CD. I hope I finish those up this a.m. I did take a break for a walk and church so it worked for me. We have school on Monday unlike most schools, I would have liked to go the Wadsworth Antheneum for their open day to commemorate the day. Great idea.
I am keeping my fingers crossed for Packers and my anti-Patriots pick of Chargers. I was beside myself to see that St Louis beat a Top 25 team. They are "a bit" unpredictable to say the least. I am happy that the Kingswood-Oxford vs Pomfret girls' varsity basketball game is 2/16; wedding shower for a co-worker on the 17th. Weekends in February do not look too good for free time. But that is fine.
Big day is Feb 5 and Super Tuesday. I have lots of soul-searching to do before that. Right now I am leaning toward Edwards so that the contest does not close itself out months before the convention. We will see. It does not seem worth it to register as a Republican for a day to vote for Ron Paul.
Off to get ready to start my day. Let's hope my car is taking the cold OK this morning. VERY cold around here. Have a good Sunday.
