Hamlet in the park

but not THE park - outside theater at a local college. It was a beautiful night outside, full moon or close to it (it was pretty full Wednesday night as we walked to the car after Casablanca) and the good news is that as I look at my calendar - tonight is the full full moon. It was also fun to arrive at the event last night in my friend's Jaguar, interesting way "to roll" as the kids at work say. I had never seen or read Hamlet before, so another "first" for me in the entertainment area.

Tonight it sounds like Cheesecake Factory - my first time - with two of my cousins. I am missing a writer's workshop in Torrington I would have liked to go to, but this should be fun. I will also be getting the call tonight as to the delivery time for the new refrigerator. Hope I get the morning shift...the delivery people are going to be hot enough without having to move everything in the heat of the day.

I did share all my concerns with the AHOS (assistant head of school). He seemed to buy the business office's description of "not an issue" when it came to paying people at a higher rate than needed for 3/4 of a pay period. Oh well. At least I feel better that I offered to pay back what was not owed me. But he said "nothing owed"...not a confidence builder in my mind that we are on sound financial ground under out DOF (Director of Finance). But I told the AHOS that I would let it go now that I have shared - it is in his court from now forward. I need to get back to 100% concentration on the computer conversion next week. We might go "read only" as early as Wednesday!!! But I am looking forward to the change.

No swimming the last two nights - walks but no swims. Might have to call a family friend or brother to see if I can swing by her pool after dinner tonight. We are in an HHH New England summer period.

Have a good weekend.
