Neither work or real life worked too well yesterday. I had lots of plans - but the boss suggested everybody leave early since it was Long Fall Weekend and no kids around and she is off for the rest of the week. I had planned to go to our US Congressional district debate, but I passed on that. I then planned to go to a lecture at a West Hartford church that I passed on the way to drop off mother's absentee ballot request, but I passed on that. My post "the home" was to to by the Library, get my November Book Club book and come home and start reading it. I will try to get to my EDA reappointment BOS meeting on Nov 5, Book Club on Nov 10, Reunion of college friends on Nov 8...my football game viewing on Saturday Nov 1 may get way laid based on sister #5's field hockey team's game at Miss Porter's school. We will see.
I have my "interview" for a possible volunteer job tonight at 4:30 p.m. at West Hartford Town Hall. My plan was to walk from the home, but the weather may not work for that. I keep thinking that life will be working its way back to "regular" any day now.
Mother is working hard to live up to sister #3's work board "suggestions". She will be back in town on Thursday.
And will all that is going on - time change this weekend. When will it stop? It takes me about a week to adjust to the change. One more thing that will keep me off message/task.
Weather is another deterrent - first forecast today of the season that will might include "flurries". Not a happy day!
With all that said. Off I go. Keep a good thought for me. Have a good Tuesday.
