Vacation - closing day

"Mercury, planet of the mind, will clear your head of unnecessary details and make it easy for you to see the road ahead. Other people may give you advice but the only guidance you need is what your inner voice tells you."

I will try to take my calm with me...keep a good thought for that.  Will take it easy today and head out mid day.

More "nature's fireworks" last night.  Weather moves over the lake in a meaningful way.

List of books I read over the last two weeks:  The Buccaneers-Wharton, Across the River and into the Woods-Hemingway, Sapphira and the Slave Girl-Cather, The Gods Arrive-Wharton, Fall of Giants and Winter of the World-Follett, and I am now reading The City in History-Mumford.

Meeting at work #2 on Monday a.m.  Also thinking about looking into getting my picture done for the web site - work #3.  I am thinking that this is about as good as it is going to be as to a relaxed look.

Detroit going bankrupt.  Interesting development in this world.  I hope it will be an eye opener.  Ron Paul having a TV station?  Interesting development in this world.

Today - pack, swim, ride home, stop and see father, home, Shoprite, church, re-center myself.  My charger on my GPS is not working so I will be going without it today.  Keep a good thought for that.

I think I saw a loon on the lake yesterday.  Swam as close as I could, but I will just tell myself I did see one.
Week from Monday will begin the services for my mother.  Sounds like father is getting some work done on his melanoma.  Cosmetic at this point in time?  I will see where that takes him when I see him today.

These last two weeks have been a gift on so many levels.  I will try to keep a place open in my brain where I can stash what I have seen and done over the last two weeks and keep it handy when I need to access the feeling.  This has been an experience that I have not had in a very long time.  I was always religious about taking my vacation time.  Had not done that over the last two years.

Here I go.
