from basecamp 1, soon to be home

Uneventful trip from basecamps 2 to 1.  Got home in plenty of time to experience the eclipse - for what it was in RI longitude and latitude.  Many were waiting for a bit more drama.  If we hadn't had the glasses, I don't think I would have noticed anything going on.

What did give the trip a new wrinkle.  Son called while we were on the homestretch to report in that he lost his passport and phone.  Had already gotten a new phone and I will be sending him a pic of his birth certificate as soon as I get home.  Not having a smartphone - I will go home get the document and take it to the PD and have one of the officers snap a pic and send it to my email.  Checked in with my PD buddy and they will be ready for me.

11:58 a.m. Athens time update. Update I am all set :) they are making my emergency passport now  Back to him at 4:58 am my time:  You are incredible...You can imagine I have been having a FEW concerns going through this mind of mine. So glad you did not take after your mother.  :)

Then take the loaner machine back.  Pick up a couple of things from Shoprite. Then I think I will be ready for a walk.  Thinking I will miss 1 p.m. DC but might catch the 4 p.m.  THEN I will wash clothes. -0- is the count for clean clothes as we speak - except for my shorts. The weather did not move me to shorts over this past week.  :)

Missed ZEN DC last night.  Watched Chicago Fire and Med from Wednesday while sister #4 was at Y for her swim.

The more obstructive some people get the more your anger will rise but try not to let it ruin your day as nothing bad will come of it. Look at it as an opportunity to impress colleagues and employers with how patient and relaxed you can be.

Whether you're aiming for a promotion, seeking to amplify your side hustle, or launching into a creative venture—your manifestation abilities are on fire. What's more, passion and desire in the realm of relationships is also indicated.

I am shooting for cool, calm and collected as I move through re-entry day with a lost passport twist.  "C,C, and C" is not my usual approach, but I will hold out hope for today.  I have to keep my eyes open to the fact that the place son lost his materials is the place that a friend of sister #1's - who son and I have met - has a contact at the Embassy in Athens.  Who she has already reached out to see how she can help.  I have to remind myself once again that I am the beneficiary of the kindness of strangers and that people, places and things appear in my life that help me over these bumps.  But they are still bumps and I still am a fearful traveler - through life.  Keep a good thought for me and my son as we move through this day.  I have the hurdle of driving myself home before any of "the magic" can happen of getting son what he needs.

In the PTL category, Wednesday is walk with family friend and grandson, EOLD at noon time - "Join us this week as we dive into the world of solo agers and discover the unique challenges and opportunities this independent demographic faces. Gain ideas on how to empower those who are aging solo, ensuring they feel valued and understood." Lansing DC and Thursday is April's massage Thursday.  Massage lady better rest up and bring her A game to work out all the knots I should have by then.

Have a good Tuesday and wish the same for me and my son.
