from basecamp 2 - return stop

Arrived at sister #1's at 2 p.m.  Good walk post being in the car for 5 hours.  A few other travelers on the road.  Trying to decide if it was eclipse travel.  But whatever the reason we were diverted a couple of times off I-95.  Good dinner and a bit of the first men's BB game and I went to bed.  Sister #1's friend from Paraguay is very entertained by my "quirks".  She might as well join the crowd.  :)

Today is Portrait Gallery which has an orchid exhibit and Dumbarton Oaks Museum and Gardens.  We will head to RI in the morning on Monday.  CT for me on Monday.

NC friend whose husband had a stroke this week is appropriately taciturn this a.m.  She sent a quick note that she is trying to stay hopeful.  Me too.  All seems to be on the mend with other friends.

What a friend or loved one suggests may sound exciting but can you afford to spend time and money on it to the extent that they want you to? Also, are they thinking about what’s good for you or what’s good for them? Give it some serious thought.

Prioritising shadow-work will help you gain clarity on your path and purpose and dissolve the delusions that are keeping you from showing up in the big, bad world as the most magnificent version of yourself. Cosmic tip: Endings are merely beginnings in disguise.

Miss my lobby breakfast this morning.  :)  Sister #1 has coffee timer on for 6:30 a.m.  I will be patient for another hour.  Have a good Sunday.
