Outside of losing an hour in heavy traffic in CT, we had a relatively smooth ride to sister #1's. A friend of hers is also visiting from Paraguay who I met in my two visits there in 1974 and 1975. Small world. Settled in a bit then a walk, then a great dinner. Landlady's cookies were a bit hit.
Plans in place for today to see brother and all his family. Will try to get some time by the indoor pool at the hotel. We will see where the visit takes us. Apex, Raleigh, Pittsboro, Chapel Hill. Back to basecamp 2 on Saturday.
You may want to be friends with everyone but a new person on your social scene should be kept at arm’s length until you know more about them. There is a very real chance they are not as open and honest as they might want you to believe.
