Settling in...a bit

Did not get the pic of me and glasses from sister #4 so put in my TX friend DIL and grandson in ATL watching.  :)

Yesterday - cleaned apt, walk with friend and her grandson, ran into a former co worker from my first job when I came back to CT and we set a walk date for Apr 25, reading my last Krueger.  Heard from son.  He is trying to decide if he will have to cut his trip short.  On a Greek island for the balance of the month.  We will see what decision he comes to after that.

Great noon EOLD discussion.  Alone Yet Empowered: Understanding Solo Agers & Tailoring Services to Fit Their Needs  talking about an organization CCaH.  New term and concept to me.  Very interesting.  Sort of like the assurance one looks for in Long Term Care insurance but on steroids as to meeting needs...in my mind for a solo ager in their 60's...strong approach but not many around yet.  We will see if they are sustainable.  The stat that always gets me - Between 2020 and 2030 alone, the time the last of the baby boom cohorts reach age 65, the number of older adults is projected to increase by almost 18 million. This means by 2030, 1 in 5 Americans is projected to be 65 years old and over.  A new way to successfully address aging has to surface.  LifeChoices® is membership-based program that uniquely combines the most important features of long-term care into one comprehensive and affordable wellness plan, helping you to maintain your independence while remaining in your home. Brother called.  He was picking up his grandson.  Can't believe that we were there a week ago.  Lansing DC in the evening.  Good end of the day to "be in a room" of supportive people.  :)

You may be independent by nature but sometimes you have no choice but to go along with what other people want and this is one of those occasions. You may have made no firm promises but you know what is expected of you, so do it.

This could be a day of inner turmoil, Libra. You'll rethink some of your fundamental values, unsure if they're still relevant to your life. It's clear that some soul searching is needed. There are no right or wrong answers, only what is in your heart. If your goal is to live authentically, then you'll need to make some big changes in your life. Don't act rashly. Think things through before taking steps.

As the moon drifts into Gemini and the sector of your chart that governs higher thinking, you'll notice your perspective shift as wisdom blossoms. Use this energy to look beyond yourself and your current situation, sweet Libra, peering beyond the veil to receive guidance and blessings from the divine. The desire to reinvent yourself and grow as a creative will be pronounced when Luna blows a kiss to Pluto, encouraging you to evolve into something bigger. You'll have a chance to merge spirituality with romance or self-care later tonight when Venus activates to promote harmony and soul fulfillment.

Today - write something for brother based on a request yesterday, walk, pick up W&T book club, massage Thursday, see PD buddy on afternoon shift, finish Krueger.  Listening to BG2 as we speak.  Have a good Thursday.
