What has happened?

Daily Stoic email this a.m....opened with:  It’s been a year, and then a year again and then a year again and another again, as unbelievable as that is to write. Time has alternately dragged, and flown by. So much has happened, fortunate and unfortunate. On March 14, 2020, now four years ago, we sent out an email about the rising threat of COVID-19 and its connection to that timeless Stoic dictum: We can’t control what has happened, but we can control how we respond. We asked one year later, and now we are asking again: How did you do?  Interesting to think about "what if" of COVID never happened.  Months after I retired.  Interesting thought to start the day, but I will keep the last thought in mind.  It’s been a hell of a couple of years. If we don’t find meaning from this suffering, if we don’t improve because of it—individually and collectively—then we have added harm on top of the misfortunate. And that is inexcusable.

Yesterday - Listened to Prof G and Ryan Hawk, listened to Beyond the Veil - "forecast" for May is encouraging for son.  :)  Walk in the rain.  NY DC at 7 p.m.  Small group, good conversation.  Talked to TX friend - she is off to Colorado for weekend wedding of daughter's brother in law, then Mexico for a few weeks, then ALB.  Amazing to me.  Same for 2024 line up for sister #1.  Every month in 2024 has a substantial outing.

Today - walk, reading Einstein, no DC's.  Will email my old college roommate about the breakfast plan for this Sunday or next.  Not sure which weekend.  Listening to "Biggest Week of the Year" report this a.m.  Music the astrologer brought up was Jupiter Suite.  Power.  Expansion.  Another good boding for son and his re-entry back to US after his trip.  Fingers crossed.

You need to get serious about a money matter before the situation spins out of control. Most likely you will have to get tough with someone who has not been contributing as much as they should – maybe even end the partnership and go your separate ways.

Communication could take some extra effort today, Libra. A business or romantic partner could seem like they're keeping things from you. You might get some uneasy vibes and wonder if there's trouble with your partnership. Don't be afraid to ask. Your friend probably won't tell you what the problem is, but will reassure you that it has nothing to do with you. If so, it isn't your business. Let it go.

Life may begin to feel slightly more serious throughout the coming month, dearest Libra, as the sun makes its debut into Taurus and your solar eighth house of commitment and transformation. Now is the time to stand firm in your quest for divine happiness, digging your roots deeper into people or situations that offer support while unapologetically cutting off that which does not. Meanwhile, Mars aligns with Jupiter and Uranus, acting as a reminder that you must sometimes remove to replace. Take an organized approach toward change to make the most of these vibes, but try not to overburden yourself when the Virgo moon faces off with Saturn later this afternoon.

Organized approach toward change...I do need to put a form around my thoughts.  No rain today so that is encouraging.  Have a good Friday.
