Nice country ride and General Store was a treat. Back from lunch, then to the pool for a dip.
The only downside of the day was I missed the EOLD and it was the Nervous System Support week! Oh well. I will get back on the EOLD ZOOM next week. Won't kill me to do some more IRL activities no matter how much it pushes me out of my routine. Called the Rec dept to make sure that the Aqua Fitness class was still on. I didn't know if the no adult swim announcement would impact the class going on. Back to the pool for the 7:15 p.m. class. Walked up and back. Will not do that next week - will drive up and back to the evening class. :)
Tonight and tomorrow - night today: THADDEUS POPE, CINDY PAARDEKOOPER. Friday mid day: CHRISTOPHER KERR, SHANNON MAZUR, DAVID N. HOFFMAN. Dreams and death, palliative sedation, what's next for MAID.
Woke up this a.m. with many muscular "reminders" of what I did yesterday. VERY happy that it is Massage Thursday. So today - walk, massage, Completed Life Symposium tonight. If I am around for any of the earlier sessions, fine, but 6 is the first one I want to make sure I do not miss.
Heard from sister #1 that one of our cousins died. The cousin who lived with my father for a couple of years right before he died. He was 69 years old. He is same age as sister #3. Now his sister is the last man standing on my mother's middle sisters children. And there is one offspring still living of my mother youngest sister's children. Mother's middle sister died in her 50's. Youngest sister died in her 60's. Mother - 90 years old when she died. We are still 6 kids standing on our families kid generation.
Also got a call from TX friend. She is now back in TX. She has stayed active this year being with the people she wanted/needed to be with all that happened this year with her two kids. Then a former co worker at my biggest job in TX called to tell me she had finally given up her desk at the company. She joined the company in 1987, I joined it in 1988. I left in 1995 to move to North Carolina. Great talking to her. That was an incredible time in my life. Me at Houston Home & Garden Magazine and then to Greenwood King Properties. Great businesses and people. Family life was beginning to fall apart, but I was so buoyed inside the walls of work. Also found out that one of my former GK co workers went into hospice this week. Another incredible person and mother of a very famous filmmaker. I need to go through my stuff and make sure my son gets the painting she did for me when I left Houston. I think he will appreciate it.
The Sun moves into the career area of your chart today, joining communications planet Mercury and your ruling planet Venus, so focus on looking for ways you can improve your social and professional status and don’t settle for a supporting role.
You could run into some emotional roadblocks today, Libra. This could be due to a lack of honesty on your part. Make sure you're sticking to the truth at all times. A strong, forceful energy could challenge your ego. Don't be surprised if this force is emotionally highly charged. Conflict is apt to result if you aren't honest about your feelings as soon as they arise.
Inspiring conversations around matters of the heart could shift how you view love, dearest Libra, as the Sagittarius moon aligns with the Nodes of Fate. Meanwhile, the sun and Neptune square off overhead, creating a dreamy environment that's perfect for taking tactical action toward your biggest dreams. You'll see growth within long-term goals once the sun enters Cancer this afternoon, though your summer may kick off with more work than play. Focus on how you can implement better routines to maximize efficiency when Saturn activates later tonight so you can create more space in your schedule to enjoy time off.
Listening to Tucker and Glenn Greenwald this a.m. Like a car crash sometime listening to him, but there is so much crossover between thought groups... Happy Solstice! Have a good Thursday. Week flew by.
