Fun discovery of a persons and a stories :)

Venn diagram came to mind this a.m.  Woke up to a diagram from the doula in NYC.  Put my paperwork in the mail on Friday and she received it Monday.  I have never done Venmo, Zelle or Paypal so I have to rely on paper and USPS...  And it makes me smile that she has time to talk on Thursday Aug 8.  She is featured on The Completed Life linked in post this a.m. for her participation in one of their programs on Aug 13.  Also Aug 8 is the day of a program - What is the meaning of 8/8? In the Sacred Mayan Calendar, 8/8 marks the beginning of a 13-day period dedicated to Q'Anil, which honors the power of the seeds of life in the cycle of life, death, and rebirth. On 8/8/24, the Completed Life Initiative invites you to celebrate the cycles of life, death, and rebirth through rhythmic drumming music and shared cacao. AND she was referred to me by the facilitator of ZEN DC.  AND she knows the director of CCLD.  I feel lifted.  

More VENN yesterday - son called while I was listening to Rich Roll and Tom Shadyac.  From Ace Ventura to Memphis Rox.  One of his mentors was Mary Oliver, who was a friend.  His family is seeped in St Judes. Their families VENN diagram is beyond belief.  And looking up Caleb Carr's obit to confirm that he did die this year.  Son had to call back when the new refrigerator was being delivered.  He is getting ready to "debut" his downstairs unit as a gathering place.  Friends coming into town from far and wide and then they will all head to Ohio for a festival.  Son is such a deeply involved person.  We visited - but just for a moment - the hit of the stock market yesterday.  His moves would never have anticipated what happened.  :)  I do see my son in his new hometown like Shadyac and Memphis not as neon lit, but meaningful.  

More - mention of DC in a local NC publication.  On a tangent topic with DC, but like to see it.  

More...one of the swimming ladies' sister came for a swim yesterday.  Fun talk as she moves her way from Delaware to Maine for vacation.  Found out that both the swimming ladies are going under the knife the last week of August.  New hip for one, cataracts for another.  After Sunday's DC and that news...I still feel strongly that I am staying away from that aspect of life...I guess I am very fortunate that an occasion has not come up where that becomes a real decision making situation.  

More from yesterday - Walk, found the "missing" airbnb, pool, grocery list for Shoprite this a.m.  The airbnb was quite an add on to my Monday route, but glad I discovered this neighborhood.  Not in my town, but another good airbnb discovery.  Another VENN of future reality of visiting hometown options.  Today - Shoprite, chores, walk, swim.
