Day 17

Castle Crags State Park (wandering) and Dunsmuir (waiting for my pancake) and then wandered Mt Shasta before the rain really moved in.  Son made supper at the cabin.  We used the laundry room.  We pull out Christmas Day for Redding to fly to LA and then Joshua Tree.  Broached the subject again of me heading out pre Joshua, but son really is set on me finishing the journey he planned.  "What does not kill me will make me stronger" is my new mantra.  :)  If I were him I would have sent me packing in Detroit.  Oh well.  We are on a mission.  Did ask family friend to swing by the convenience store to get me a LOTTO and a MEGAMILLION ticket for Tuesday drawing.  I will need that kind of folding money to make me whole after this trip.  AND hitting the grocery store on the first Sr Disc Tuesday at Shoprite.  Saying my cupboards were bare pre trip is the understatement of the year.  Also filling out a survey for Dollar General - my new favorite store - $7 dollar cream cheese at the Mt Shasta grocery.  Dunsmuir Dollar General $1.  Some of the areas we have been in big box grocery stores are not "a thing".  And that is not a bad thing, but an expensive thing for those who are not the TESLA driving/Retreat going group.

Ran into some people on the street yesterday who were in the Solstice Retreat with us.  They came up from LA.  They did Thanksgiving in Sedona.  This week in Mt Shasta.  Couple and their 12-14 yr old daughter.  What it must be like to grow up in a family who is on a daily spiritual journey...Son and I looked at each other as to "where did we look for our energy?"...

Just heard back - family friend will take care of my "gambling tickets" for Tuesday drawing.

Tonight we are going into town for Sound Healing - Crystal Tones Alchemy Crystal Bowls and Violin.  Maybe that will break the hard crust of my heart and mind.  Fingers crossed.

By all means get tough with someone who is clearly not pulling their weight but don’t go over the top about it. A quiet word in their ear should be enough to get them motivated. Whether that is done by fear or by encouragement is up to you.

Admit if your emotions have pushed you over the line, darling Libra, as the Capricorn sun squares off with the nodes of fate. Underlying issues may cause you to lash out at others inadvertently, but acknowledging your faults will help you cultivate peace. You'll have extra luck voicing what truly lies in your heart as the moon continues its journey through your sign and aligns with communicative Mercury. A rush of cosmic support finds you when Jupiter stirs midafternoon, and the stars will listen to your wishes. Seek art therapy, self-care, or romance this evening when Venus and Chiron connect.

This is a good day for quiet contemplation, Libra. You may have worried about finances lately, but there's no longer any need to concern yourself. All signs indicate that your financial fortunes are about to change. You've been working hard and should reap some rewards. Today's aspects suggest that you will. Enjoy your newfound peace of mind, but don't go out and use the credit cards in celebration!

I will keep my cosmic guidance in mind as I go through the day.  Have a good Monday.  Less than 2 hands of fingers of days left before I head back to east coast.  Not that anyone is counting.  :)
