Yesterday walked the trail around Lake Siskiyou. Sound Healing - Crystal Tones Alchemy Crystal Bowls and Violin last night. Woman made a comment about relaxation being impeded by fear...interesting thought for me, myself and I. :) Rain forecast for all day today. Will eat at the dinner that is open for Christmas Eve and Christmas. We head to Redding tomorrow to make sure we are out of the weather here and near the airport for Thursday a.m. flight to LAX. I will just keep saying - only one more week. Dishwasher job was posted for that restaurant near my apt. Is it a "sign" since I said I could be the dishwasher there to make some money back from this trip? Will need to do something to reverse the financial hemorrhage. And take care of the broken tooth. :) Son is not impeded. He wants to be in Mexico by late January. My only plan is to smudge my apt with a smudge stick my family friend gave me. 
Smudging, as it's used today, stems from the Native American origins. Using sage in combination with an abalone shell as a vessel, they believe it clears away negative energy and spirits, and the smoke carries your prayers upward to the creator. I will do that over that first weekend of January before I dive deep into resetting my space post my deep paring down of stuff. I have a vision. We will see. Hope someone at town social services or family friend's church can use a new microwave. :)

Christmas Eve 2024...not where I thought I would be, not heading where I thought I was going to be headed. I will try to put some trust into my cosmic guidance. Might be facetime-ing with two sisters, niece and her husband later in Rhode Island. We will see if they reach out. I am sure it has been a thoughtful month for them too.
