Interesting, no swim day...

I so do NOT buy books, but I broke that rule yesterday.  Watched a Geri-Pal YouTube with a Mayo Clinic doctor and was completely taken.  Watched it twice, wrote the doctor/author, shared the episode, and bought the book.  As I shared with some: "I thought my last crush on a Latin Revolutionary died with Che."  :)

"In a series of brief and personal essays, Why We Revolt describes what is wrong with industrial healthcare, how it has corrupted its mission, and how it has stopped caring. Montori rescues the language of patient care to propose a revolution of compassion and solidarity, of unhurried conversations, and of careful and kind care

And Rabbit, Rabbit, Rabbit this a.m.  Aug 1 2025.

Yesterday - town preemptively closed the pool for the day before it was even time to open.  So I did an umbrella walk in the a.m. and luckily was consumed with blog work for the balance of the day that I needed to fill.  Will hope for dry walk and swim today.  Raining as we speak at 3:36 a.m.

I felt good about what I saw on the town web site about the BAA process for the people wanted to protest the valuation on their car valuation for the car taxation. I do feel my former PD co worker listened to some of my input as to how to improve the process that I witnessed with the real estate protest process in March of this year.  I will attend the Sept sessions to see how it feels.

Back and forth with the Duke grad who was exploring job possibilities in the end-of-life arena.  I gave her a list (of course).  Will see where her journey takes her.

Not everyone can live up to your high standards of behavior, so make allowances and try not to fall out with friends whose approach to life seems unnecessarily negative. If you judge them too harshly today someone else may judge you harshly tomorrow.

You may feel as though you've been misled by loved ones, dear Libra, as Venus squares Saturn and Neptune. Further confusion could manifest as companions attempt to explain themselves, and it might be wise to take a breather so you can dissect your feelings. Commentary from friends outside of the situation won't give the support or clarity you need when the Scorpio quarter moon enters a harsh aspect with Mercury Retrograde. Seeking validation while only telling one side of the story can also amplify emotions that aren't entirely rooted in the truth. Opportunities for mature discourse emerge once Jupiter is activated, helping you work through problems and establish stronger foundations.

The train is headed out, so you'd better hop on, Libra. People won't be too sympathetic to your emotional sob story today, so keep it quiet. Whining will most certainly get you kicked off the train altogether. The energy of today is teaching you to toughen up. Don't take it personally, but realize that there are important lessons to learn. One is to know when to be silent and obedient.

After my loudness/sharing mode of yesterday, I will try the silent and obedient road for today.  Keep a good thought for that.  :)  Have a good Friday, first day of August.
