On this day, a most special one was born and gave our world: a little bit more brightness, a little bit more sensibility, material for emails with always more thoughts to ponder, conversations on ways to bring justice for all (with suggestions for what should be changed so this could be a reality in all of her work places and at the community/State levels:), sound reasons to question why/when we do what we do, forgiveness to make decisions that are right for ourselves while being mindful that we aren't hurting others, and I'm so very grateful to be a part of your world (from beach cousin)

Former co worker from Houston. High school classmate.  Sister #1. Greetings so far in the last 24 hours. 3:58 a.m. as I write.  

Yesterday was a day that took some turns.  Shoprite kept its place a first stop. $6.70/$.36 day.  I am giving up grapes and did not need many things.  Ran dishwasher. Did a load of wash.  Walked with family friend due to rain forecast for this a.m., took a ride back with her to Community Center to vote and pick up Nov 1st book club book - The Serviceberry. Then walked home. Then CA DC.  Then got an ask from one of the swimming ladies if - as her youngest friend, she is 85 - I could put some dishes up on a high shelf after she had gotten her kitchen painted. So I walked up there and did that and chatted for a bit.  Then home.  Then IOWA DC.  Full day.

Today - clean apt, EOLD, walk, GA DC tonight.  High school friend and husband are not coming down from MA to watch grandson play soccer at former school #1, so I will pass on that outing.
