Yesterday - my first election day not to work in many years - supported me mentally and physically over being at the polls from 5:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Sister #1 worked her polls in VA. She will be in recovery mode today. Good ZOOM at 1 p.m. GREAT ZOOM at 7 p.m. It was a Reimagine event. Small but very good group and discussion.
Shoprite was a $47.22/$18.49 day. Starting accumulating for T'day. Sister Schubert rolls had a digital coupon and OS jellied cranberry on "sale" but how did that get so expensive!!! Cornbread for Friday's lunch. I did "cave" for grapes again at $1.99/lb. Went to town over for gas. $3.25 versus $2.99. Thought I would get ready for T'day travel. I will go to sister #4's and then leave my car there. I won't put much of a dent in the full tank of gas I know have between now and then. Ran dishwasher. Load of wash. Good walk. Family friend asked if I wanted to go in and volunteer at the Journey Home location on Nov 18. They have a fundraising mailer to get out. I said I would.
Today - clean apt, walk with family friend, EOLD Nervous System Support!! at noon. At 2 p.m. Library author ZOOM - "Community, Power, and the Search for Indigenous Identity with Award-Winning Journalist Joseph Lee".
